At its core, our latest subwoofer features a discreet yet highly effective voice coil heat sink. Complemented by the distinctive BD SPL aluminium dust-cap and the aluminium voice coil former, heat dissipation from the USA-made voice coil is optimised. Augmented by direct VC rear venting, the entire motor structure ensures increased power handling over prolonged durations, effortlessly.

BDC – The 5000W ‘Competition’ 4″ flat wound USA voice coil, 6 layer spider. BDC SPL woofers are available in dual 1Ohm configuration, 15″ and 18″. The new subwoofers are built for competition and are able to deliver unmatched output for long periods of time, with ease. Offering increased excursion and power handling over the BD series.
